Heal from the Inside Out
Relational, trauma-responsive therapy for individuals and couples who long for safety, connection, and growth in their relationship with themselves and others.
Psychotherapy Services
Many of us learned how to survive by over-functioning, people-pleasing, disconnecting from ourselves, or becoming who we needed to be in order to feel safe, loved, or enough. While these adaptations may have helped us endure difficult experiences and relationships, they can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or trapped in painful thoughts, patterns, emotions, and behaviors.
In individual therapy we will explore the experiences, relationships, and survival responses that have shaped your sense of self. Together, we will work to deepen self-compassion, strengthen nervous system regulation, and reconnect you with your values, needs, and authentic voice. My approach is collaborative and deeply relational, and integrates nervous-system-oriented approaches, Internal Family Systems, attachment-based work, somatic mindfulness, and EMDR to help you build a more grounded and trusting relationship with yourself and create meaningful change from the inside out.
Relationships have the power to both profoundly wound and profoundly heal. When conflict, disconnection, resentment, or recurring patterns take hold, partners can find themselves feeling unseen, misunderstood, or alone in the very relationship they most want to feel connected within. I firmly believe that relational trauma and relational wounds are healed relationally, and that there is no “right way” to be in a relationship other than to be both considerate and considered.
Couples therapy offers a space to turn towards one another, get curious about the unmet needs beneath conflict, and strengthen connection through honesty, accountability, and compassion. Together, we will explore the fears, needs, attachment patterns, wounds, ruptures, and protective strategies that shape your relationship while helping you create new ways of communicating, relating, and repairing. My goal is not to prescribe what your relationship should be, but to help you build a relationship that is aligned with the values, integrity, and authenticity of the people in it.
About Me
My path to becoming a therapist began long before earning my Masters in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University. Like many of the clients I work with, I spent years trying to think my way out of patterns that were rooted far deeper than logic could reach. My own healing journey led me through recovery from addiction, complex trauma, perfectionism, fawning, self-abandonment, and the lasting impact of relational trauma. Along the way, I learned that insight alone cannot heal wounds that were formed in relationship and wired into the nervous system.
Today, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work. As a long-term sober woman and trauma survivor, I understand what it means to rebuild a relationship with yourself after years of adapting, performing, and surviving. My experiences have taught me that no one is broken. Human beings are remarkably adaptive, and many of the patterns we struggle with in adulthood were once brilliant strategies for navigating environments where safety, consistency, or emotional attunement were unavailable.
I specialize in working with adults and couples navigating Complex PTSD, relational trauma, addiction, perfectionism, anxiety, shame, self-abandonment, and the lingering effects of narcissistic abuse and emotionally immature caregivers. I am particularly passionate about supporting people who identify as fawners, chronic caretakers, over-functioners, and those who find themselves repeatedly disconnected from their own needs, boundaries, and sense of self.
My approach is trauma-responsive, relational, and grounded in the belief that healing happens at the nervous system level. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, attachment-based work, EMDR, and nervous-system-oriented approaches to help clients move beyond understanding their patterns intellectually and begin creating meaningful change from the bottom up and the inside out.
At the heart of my work is the simple belief that the relationship we have with ourselves shapes every other relationship and each experience in our lives. Therapy can become a space to reconnect with your voice, your values, your body, and the parts of yourself that were silenced by years of survival. My role is never to tell you who you are, but to help you get curious about, explore, and trust the person who has been there all along.
